A beautiful town situated on the Sapphire coast of NSW. Detoured through this town on my way to Victoria. Right on the ocean, nice shops and nice people. We just missed the Jazz festival by a few days but apparently it goes off if you are into Jazz. If you have enough time, check out the area by a scenic flight which was not too expensive. Will definitely go back here to spend more time.

Merimbula is on the far South Coast of New South Walesand is Known as the Sapphire Coast. A favourite tourist destination catering for every budget also a popular area for people to retire to there is an airport and connections to interstate bus services.

I spent a lot of summer holidays at Merimbula when I was young. It is a great place to take your family. Stunning beaches and lots to do. Mini golf in the main street was our favourite thing to do!
